8th Annual Veterans Day Parade

Location: Jefferson Street between 4th and 7th Street. The 8th Annual Veterans Day Parade is the official Veterans Day event for Louisville and is supported via the Mayor’s Office. Additionally, Fort Knox celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2018. In honor of their history with our community and country, we will honor the Commanding General of Fort Knox as our Grand Marshal. Also, 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI and the parade will appropriately note this event. Massing of the Colors/Blessing of the Flags takes place immediately after the parade at the Review Stand on the front steps of Metro Hall.
